Re-engineering of the Workflow>Lung(MR)>Display Curves dialog box

1.  Implemented ability to change the Temporal resolution of the curves.

2.  Implemented "Show Left", "Show Right", "Synchronize" buttons.

3.  Fixed bug in Reporting the lung area and volume (cm2\cm3)

4. Parallelize the Diaphragm movement calculation to substantially speed up the Dialog opening.

Build 415A is released.

 1. Implemented the Memchecker tool for detecting Memory leaks with the full stack trace.

2. Updated the "Save to RAW" core functions. This fixed the error when loading the 4D DICOM and then saving it to NIFTI/.

3. Batch module BM2 : Fixed the situation when after auto processing each document a dialog box will pop-up and ask the user if the document has to be saved.

Build 415 is released.

 1. Extended DICOM heuristics for determining IsDicomFile: for the files without preamble\DCIM

2. When saving to FVX file: if a layer volume contains a slice which is fully VOID that was producing a crash.

3. Corrected saving to RAW formats (incl NII) when there re VoidVoxels and user chooses NAN as the replacement. There were numerous defects around it,

4. MainMenu>ROI>Clip Volume by ROI :corrected transparent value selection so the NAN is used to represent VOIDVOX (instead of incorrect -1 previously).

5. NIFTI Save: corrected the sform matrix calculation (to incorporate pixdim into the matrix).  Verified .NII overlay under ITK-Snap

6. Batch processing module BM2 :  corrected so the processed FVX file when reloaded is shown in the same default projection as before processing.

7. BM2 module crash is fixed.

8. Parallelize Hist64 calculation with x10+ speed increase.

 1. When calculating each slice "absolute time", changed the base year to Y2000 (to increase the time precision).

Build 412 is released.

 1. Implemented MainframeMenu>Dynamic Analysis>Display Single Curve.

2. When loading TAC from text file automatically (heuristically, there is not sure way) determine the encoding of the text file to be char(8) or TCHAR(16). Previous version treated all the files as char.

3. Developed Incoherence2 curve measure (without minimum period constant).

4. Implemented Multi-Column Curve loading function. This is available currently under "Display Single Curve" and "Single Curve Basic measurement" UI functions.

 1. Fixed error in REAL : internal compression when the entire slice has the same value. This was causing a crash in "LoadTac as 4D" function.

Build 411 is released.

 1. Implemented a new DICOM header compression scheme when stored in FVX files. 3rd party compression is phased out. There is no saving a temporary file into FireVoxel TEMP directory thus removing a host of problems.

2. FVX format v.16 is introduced.

3. New timings on compressed 500MB file (with highly compressed DICOM headers)

Build 410B:   Load=3.59 sec.                   Save:78 sec              Size:  499 MB (original 1,006 MB)

Build 411:      Load=3.29 sec                    Save: 15.8 sec          Size:   535 MB (original 1,006 MB)


4. Performed correction in MainMenu>ROI>Normalize by ROI function 

New function:
a) works both for INT and REAL volumes (old one INT only)
b) Both 3D and 4D (old one 3D only)
c) Has a progress indicator.


5. Removed irrelevant unsupported file formats from Image Save function dialog box.

Build 410B is released.

 1. BM1 (breast cancer project): implemented a supporting custom function for loading the DWI volume from a folder containing NIFTI files with b-values encoded in file names.

2. When compressing the DICOM headers inside the FVX file : added the "delete file" operation pre\post the operation. For some reason the 7zip.exe was failing occasionally if the previous compressed file was present in the Temp folder.

 1. Compiled and link the latest DCMTK 3.6.7   as DLLs.  Static libs (non-DLL) linkage is not working at the moment. Posted a request at the developers forum.

2. Fvxdcm_DC.cpp : corrected the handling of  VR_AS and VR_UI.

3. Deep verification of FVX file save:  in addition to byte-for-byte comparison with the internal MemFile, we also reload the FVX document and compare it on the entity level.

4. FVX file now contains the Build# that created it.

5. Finally linked DCMTK 3.6.7 statically (by fixing CMake script defect)

 1. REAL volume compression: fixed heap corruption defect (TAB compression).

2. Removed UI   User Options {Compress REAL,Compress INT}.  It is always compressed from now on.  This is to simplify options for the user and simplify troubleshooting.

Build 409 is released.

 1. New codec for REAL volumes as FVX entity. Substantial improvement over the previous codec.

2. When FVX document saved, the REAL volume entity is always saved compressed independently of the UserOptions settings for compression state. This is to simplify the optimal saving of the files and minimizing storage\transfer times.
