1. Lung segmentation : added a variant when only selected timepoint of 4D lung dataset is selected to generate a 3D ROI for that timepoint.
2. Lung segmentation dialog : change the "Smooth Image" parameter into (mm)
Build 406 is released.
1. Implemented new Workflow: "Parametric Map Batch Feature Processing". FireVoxel opening the folder containing FVX files. Then common parametric maps are identified. Radiomics feature measurements are performed on all files in the folder and result is placed into TXT file formatted for Excel import.
2. DICOM file loading of b-values: Included the code check for using the DICOM-recommended tag before proceeding to the Manuf\Model-specific private tags. (Resolved the issue with the Philips\Activa images).
3. Loading an odd Diffusion DICOM set is facilitated by introducing a new option (checkbox) "Combine STUDIES" in DICOM load Dialog Box.
Build 405 is releazed.
1. When the DICOM image fails to load it now displays the TransferSyntax name (f.e. JPEG-LS) in diagnostics message.
2. Correction within CVol::Spc() function : calculating times were too long. Reverted to older version with m_Spc.IsValid() test. (This was resulting in Rasterize Selection function appear suspended).
3.
Implemented initial version of the FlexMorph function (based on Flexr3D). Allows to produce morphing between 2 highly non-convex slices.
4. Fixed: DICOM load of a single file when both {SliceThickness,SpacingBetweenSlices} is missing.
Build 404C is released.
1.When exporting a double-real image to {ANALYZE,MIDAS,NII} we offer NAN as the default value for VOIDVOX. So the other packages can read it appropriately.
2. When loading {ANALYZE,MIDAS,NII} and NAN voxel is present, it is converted appropriately to firevoxel internal VOIDVOX value.
3. Fixed the "Linear Conversion over ROI" UI function
Build 404A is released.
1. Updated the FLEXR MC UI and function to include the "Actual Target dynamic index" option. This is required when the Target ROI is drawn on one timepoint but it is beneficial for the feature matching to use a different timepoint as a Target. This is the case in BPE breast study.
2. Updated the lung curve report function output.
Build 404 is released.
1. FLEXR Motion correction: implemented a new UI processing option when the final reslicing timepoint is different from the Target timepoint.
2. TransformFieldNW : performed corrections when the Source mask is present.
3. Load FVX file (all versions) : Fixed defect when UserOpt.LoadDynExp=false the loading of the DynExp from file was improperly skipped.
4. New streamlined function for the ROI segmentation split based on histogram (using standard RoiStats3D dialog box)
FireVoxel Build 403 is released.
1.Corrections regarding the DICOM load with TE values and their conversion between ms-displayed and sec-internal.
2. Internal: splitting the VA_FLEXR structure in to FLEXR3D and FLEXRMC
3. UI: Splitting the general FLEXR dialog into FLEXR3D and FLEXRMC
4. Added the ABT subtest: FLEXR3D for CT Lung (from EMPIRE 2010 competition).
5. UI: Added the function to generate FireVoxel license key
Build 402 is released.
1. Corrected defect when "Remove duplicate SOP Instance UID" message pops up even when no duplicates are present.
2. Provided a more explanatory message in the event of duplicates present
New DICOM check and message in the recent Builds:
Each DICOM file is supposed to have an unique SOP Instance UID as explained here:
SOP Instance UID - OTpedia, Information for Medical Imaging (otechimg.com)
However, this is sometimes not a case.
Prior to Build 399 this check was always made and the duplicate SOP Instance UID files were excluded from loading.
Then in Build 399 a new check was added and if the files with the identical SOP Instance UID are detected the dialog box comes up that offers to remove the duplicate files from loading (but does not delete them physically).
Build 401 is released.
1. Development moved to new version MS VC++ 2022.
2. FireVoxel recompiled on VC++ 2022. Modules {FvxDcm, FvxMem} corrected warnings Level4 and various issues found by a new compiler.
3. Recompiled DCMTK 3.6.3 (2018) using the new compiler.
4. Updated the MSVC redistribution files in FVX.

Build 400 is released.
1. VK_F9 now activates : Set Projection for this View function.,
2. Added Slab thickness field to the SetProjection dialog box
3. FVX format v.15 is introduced (due to the change inVA_VOLPROJ structure)
4. VolumeProjection dialog: implemented new functionality {MinIP,MaxIP,AvgIP| with the User-specified Slab thickness. Works on all projections of {UINT,REAL} volumes.
5. ConvertVolumeRealToInteger: added parameter Bias and completely parallelized. This function is used in DICOM load.
6. When DICOM folder contains the files with the duplicate SOP Instance UID, User is given the option to delete the duplicates.
7. New UI function : MainManu>Measure>Polyline length
Build 399 is released.
1. Internal : DetectRidges function (principle in MR\CT lung segmentation): code optimization and switching to AVX256 led to X4 speed up.
2. Internal: Convolution2D function, when PadDuplicate=false now chooses the lowest value for the entire Volume (previously =0)
3. Ensured that the CT lung segmentation works when Volume is loaded as REAL (HU)
4.When displaying cursor voxel value over the real volume check if the signal is pseudo-real and display the integer format instead.
5. When loading DICOM volume and negative voxel values are present - offer to load as UINT with the bias
FireVoxel Build 398 is released.
1. Developed a compression scheme for the pseudo-real volumes (Signed integer volumes represented as REAL). Compression 1:1 matches the corresponding ratios for SINT files.
2. Removed the DICOM load dialog for choosing between the REAL load and UINT load with the bias. Loading of CT files is now done the same way as Mango and 3DSlicer.
3. Rigid HU display on the status bar is removed and HU units are properly displayed.
4. IsMatchingVolume function : extended for quasi-precise comparison with MaxAbsDiff measure and specified Eps tolerance.
