MFC dialog "double float" numerical field failure:  developed a workaround by replacing MFC function:  

           AFXAPI DDX_Text(CDataExchange* pDX, int nIDC, double& value)

with the custom function.  This custom function will be in place till the MFC dialog problem is fixed.
